Essential Job Functions:

  • Designing and implementing software of embedded devices and systems.
  • Designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging system software.
  • Analyzing and enhancing efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources.
  • Reviewing code and design.
  • Supporting software quality assurance and optimize input output performance.
  • Interfacing with hardware design and development.
  • Understanding of the Linux kernel and development.
  • Utilizing data structures, parallel computing, and program structures for efficient algorithm implementation.
  • Prepare and present presentations and written documents summarizing efforts in Government format for Form 1 approval (process of instruction provided by COR as GFI).

 

Experience:


  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.
  • Programming experience in C/ C and Linux.
  • Embedded systems experience
  • Knowledge of Operating System coding techniques, protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems
  • Experience developing software embedded processors, with a focus on low level bare metal implementations, embedded real-time operating systems, and Linux driver development.
  • Understanding and experience implementing algorithms.
