We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to support our partner experience. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of OASIS (Pearson's Order and Shipment Information System). We need someone with strong prioritization skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, will work closely with customers, stakeholders, engineers, designers, and other product managers to define, prioritize, and execute the product vision and roadmap. The Product Manager will report to the Director of Product Management and collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams.

What you will do

  • Conduct user research, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify and validate customer needs and opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor products, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Translate customer insights and business objectives into user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Create and maintain the product backlog, roadmap, and release plan for OASIS.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of product data requirements.
  • Communicate and align with internal and external stakeholders on product strategy, progress, and feedback.
  • Define and track key performance indicators and success metrics for OASIS.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation for OASIS and the product development process.
  • Regularly report on product performance, presenting insights and recommendations to leadership.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education, computer science, engineering, business, or related field.
  • 5 years of product management experience in the education technology or software industry.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts to diverse stakeholders and customers, foster team collaboration, and proven leadership experience in driving cross-functional teams towards a common goal.
  • Experience with higher education product, learning management systems, or digital learning platforms.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and solve complex business problems
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Customer-centric and user-focused mindset.
  • Passion for education and learning.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:

The minimum full-time salary range is between $90,000 - $100,000.
