Overview
Pariveda is seeking a Managing Vice President for our New York office to build, grow, and lead the consulting practice. In this pivotal role, you will establish and deepen C-suite client relationships, drive new business development, expand strategic accounts, manage the New York portfolio, hire and develop consulting talent, lead teams in service delivery, and contribute to the achievement of Pariveda’s mission and objectives.

You Can Expect To:
As a senior member of the Pariveda management team, reporting to the East Region Operating Group Lead, you will play an integral role in building our New York office. You will be responsible for driving sales and delivery while mentoring and growing a strong team of leaders. You can expect to:
- Identify and develop broad, horizontal advisory services aligned with Pariveda’s core solutions.
- Generate new client accounts and grow them over time, particularly among mid-market and larger companies across multiple industry segments in the New York area.
- Nurture and expand existing strategic accounts to achieve mutually established revenue targets.
- Establish credibility and trust with C-level clients, delivering services and solutions that meet their needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor, consistently adding value and promoting service excellence.
- Manage all sales efforts and service delivery for the New York office, including client meetings, proposal efforts, scoping, estimating, project management, quality assurance, and delivery of work.
- Lead efforts to recruit, hire, mentor, coach, and retain great employees who align with the firm’s culture and vision.
- Prepare and execute succession plans, and participate in regular skills assessments, project reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the New York office’s P&L, manage budgets, and ensure effective sales pipeline management, resource allocation, and project profitability.
- Demonstrate strong stewardship of company time, finances, and resources.
- Work within a hybrid model, collaborating with smart, humble, and supportive colleagues.
We Look For:
The successful candidate possesses the following critical qualifications:
- 10 years of leadership experience in IT strategy, custom development, project management, technology services solutions sales and delivery, practice leadership, and P&L management.
- A strong track record in consultative sales and new client development, with the ability to craft compelling value propositions and develop creative solutions that deliver significant value to clients.
- A well-established network of clients and professional relationships in the New York regional market.
- Proven ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect with C-level clients.
- An influential leader with the ability to discuss business issues effectively, articulate relevant concepts and ideas, and gain buy-in.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine commitment to developing employees’ knowledge, skills, and capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution skills, with a methodical approach to proactively anticipating challenges, assessing problems, gathering pertinent facts, seeking counsel where necessary, and delivering sound solutions.
- A resourceful leader who consistently delivers on commitments, meets and exceeds expectations, and follows through reliably.
