What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at NextStep Recruiting?
Controller. Regional Controller. NextStep Recruiting is working with a small but rapidly growing construction organization southwest of Denver, CO that is looking to hire an experienced Controller or Accounting Manager for their Colorado business.
Candidates should have:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. CPA or CMA a plus
- 6 years of progressive corporate accounting experience including 2 years of accounting leadership
- Construction industry-related experience is highly desirable. Manufacturing accounting may work as well
- Good experience with job costing, WIP (work in progress), and project accounting experience
- Strong Excel Skills
