Communications Associate – Content Manager, Nevada Policy

This role is pivotal in shaping our public image and increasing our brand awareness. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating compelling content, understanding marketing strategies, and effectively using social media platforms to engage audiences. You will work closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure all communications align with our brand's voice and objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing department to understand short-term and long-term marketing targets, and develop content strategies that align with these goals.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content across various platforms to capture maximum audience interest.
  • Brand Development: Collaborate with the content and marketing team to refine brand taglines, logos, and other promotional materials.
  • Innovative Strategies: Brainstorm and suggest new methods to enhance traffic by exploring new platforms and channels.
  • Compliance: Ensure all content complies with copyright and data protection laws.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain consistency in content and ensure alignment with the brand’s history and future plans.
  • Social Media Content: Develop engaging content for social media platforms to enhance online presence and engagement.
  • Copywriting: Write compelling copy for social media captions, scripts, and other PR materials that resonate with our brand voice.
  • Video Production: Produce high-quality video content for social media, both in long and short formats, and collaborate with editors to ensure quality.
  • Social Media Strategy: Assist the Director of Communications in developing and executing social media strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Analytics: Analyze social media performance and use data to refine strategies.
  • Community Management: Engage with social media communities to foster positive interactions and brand loyalty.
  • Influencer Marketing: Build and maintain relationships with influencers, and execute influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Audience Understanding: Identify audience needs in relation to the company and create tailored social media content.
  • Media Relations: Address inquiries from the media and other parties, and track media coverage.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay informed about industry and policy trends to keep our content relevant and impactful.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in content creation, social media management, and public relations.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Experience with video production and editing.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics and strategy development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
