Description
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Performance of routine maintenance and timely repairs of all facets of ski lift and associated components. Actively participate in and conduct necessary inspections, testing, monitoring, maintenance and repair to any and all ski lift machinery, tools, equipment, buildings and implements to ensure safe and efficient lift operation at all times. Train and perform all lift maintenance assessments, procedures, paperwork and all other necessary duties to ensure and achieve safe ski lift operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspect, test, monitor repair and perform quality assurance tasks to ski lift machinery and components.
Execute scheduled routine and preventative maintenance on ski lift machinery and components, tools and buildings.
Assess any and all lift operational problems, determine cause of operational issues, implement solutions and respond with proper maintenance to ensure safe and timely repair.
Learn all resort, department, ANSI policies, procedures and regulations.
Perform all necessary maintenance, repair and incident on logs.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inform and consult with the Operations Director of any and all work in progress, maintenance problems that may need to be addressed and any problems encountered.
Maintain clean, safe and orderly shop and work areas, including tools, equipment and replacement parts.
Other duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of ski lift equipment, terminology and operational procedures preferred, but not mandatory.
Knowledge of heavy machinery, mechanical, brake and electrical systems.
Attention to detail, problem solving skills and communication skills are a must.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license.
Salary : $15 - $18
