Pharmacy Tech trainee

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Part time Pharmacy Technician trainee to join our team at Mount Carmel. This role is scheduled for 32 hours bi-weekly, with rotating day and evening shifts and weekends.

About Columbus:

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in providing timely and accurate medications to patients
• Perform routine technician functions under direct supervision of a pharmacist
• Fill orders/prescriptions, prepare intravenous admixtures, and restock medications
• Assist with inventory control, billing, and use of equipment and automated technology

Requirements:

• High school graduation or equivalent required
• Approved Pharmacy Technician Certification required within 12 months of hire date
• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred but not required
