We’re looking for a paralegal who wants more than a job – we need a paralegal who wants to make a difference in the lives of clients whose experiences are catastrophic and life-altering. You will be part of a litigation team working on complex medical malpractice and personal injury cases from start to finish. You and the assigned legal assistant will be responsible for your separate portions of case management and will participate in day-to-day case collaboration. The firm's work has resulted in numerous safety changes throughout Colorado and nationwide. You can take pride in knowing that you play a part in those changes.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
● A minimum of 3 years of current complex personal injury/medical malpractice litigation experience, including trial experience
● Order, organize, redact medical records
● Discovery, including drafting disclosures
● Prepare deposition notebooks
● Prepare trial exhibit notebooks
● Strategize with team
● Trial preparation and attendance as necessary
● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
● E-filing requirements for multiple states
● Proficient with docketing and electronic calendaring software
● Legal and medical terminology
● State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
● Stable current work history
● Perform other duties as assigned
