As a reading interventionist, you work with students to improve their phonemic awareness, increase literacy, and a deep understanding of reading on a daily basis.
You work alongside our classroom teachers and administrative team to identify students in need of additional reading support

Position Overview
Every day, it is great people at KIPP that prove the possible. KIPP St. Louis Teachers Assistants provide classroom support and small group instructional care to students.
Teachers Aides assist and support the teacher(s) in implementing an instructional and care program to promote academic achievement and personal development in our Kindergarten classrooms.
Teacher’s Aids typically assist in one classroom during core instruction and lead teach one block of content each day.
Position Types : Full-time, non-exempt, 10 months

The following are required :
A high school diploma or GED and 60 hours of college credit
Substitute Teaching Certification Required
Experience working with students
Strong organizational and time management skills
Able to accept and implement professional feedback
