Description

We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to join our Property Management division. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in team development, flexibility, and a willingness to travel regionally as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Property Management Oversight:
    • Lead and mentor the property management team, providing guidance and performance feedback.
    • Manage staffing within the property management department.
    • Ensure effective property management practices, including lease administration, rent collection, and resident relations.
    • Conduct regular on-site inspections to address maintenance and safety concerns.
    • Develop strategies to optimize occupancy rates and minimize vacancies.
  • Operational Efficiency & Improvement:
    • Analyze operations to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    • Implement new processes and procedures to streamline operations.
    • Utilize technology solutions to enhance property management and communication.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and fair housing guidelines.
    • Maintain accurate property records and financial reports.
    • Prepare regular reports for senior management on property performance and operational metrics.
    • Conduct staff training on policies and procedures.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in property management or related field.
  • Demonstrated success in enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to build and mentor high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of property management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting.
  • Experience with property management software systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
