We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to join our Property Management division. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in team development, flexibility, and a willingness to travel regionally as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Property Management Oversight:
- Lead and mentor the property management team, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Manage staffing within the property management department.
- Ensure effective property management practices, including lease administration, rent collection, and resident relations.
- Conduct regular on-site inspections to address maintenance and safety concerns.
- Develop strategies to optimize occupancy rates and minimize vacancies.
- Operational Efficiency & Improvement:
- Analyze operations to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement new processes and procedures to streamline operations.
- Utilize technology solutions to enhance property management and communication.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and fair housing guidelines.
- Maintain accurate property records and financial reports.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on property performance and operational metrics.
- Conduct staff training on policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in property management or related field.
- Demonstrated success in enhancing operational efficiency.
- Proven ability to build and mentor high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of property management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting.
- Experience with property management software systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Willingness to travel as required.
