Role Summary

We seek a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our forward-thinking team. Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement a holistic sales strategy that aligns with organizational objectives, propelling revenue growth and market presence.
  • Identify and engage prospective clients, generate leads, and transform opportunities into profitable partnerships.
  • Establish and surpass ambitious sales goals, consistently achieving exceptional performance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our offerings, emphasizing unique selling propositions to potential partners.
  • Engage in negotiations regarding terms, pricing, and contracts with clients, ensuring mutually advantageous agreements.
  • Build and sustain robust relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for strategic accounts, fostering trust through engaging communications.
  • Remain abreast of industry trends, competitive activities, and emerging market possibilities.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to advisors and agencies, comprehending their needs and delivering premium value propositions to enhance market share.
  • Utilize social media effectively to network with existing and prospective clients and partners.
  • Collaborate intensively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to guarantee the effective execution of sales strategies and optimal client satisfaction.
  • Assist in orchestrating event planning efforts, including detailed itineraries and budgets for tradeshows, familiarization trips, and other significant events. Travel commitment of 30% is required, including overnight and weekend trips.
  • Provide timely and detailed sales reports and analyses to leadership, offering insights into performance trends, market dynamics, and enhancement opportunities.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in computer applications, including Salesforce, Tableau, PowerPoint, PLEX, Executer, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with industry best practices, attending conferences, and participating in training sessions.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or Communications is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of successful experience as a business development manager, with travel industry experience being advantageous.
  • A robust network of contacts and relationships within the travel sector.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and closing abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Demonstrated creativity in problem-solving and the ability to function independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities.
  • Proven analytical skills to derive insights from data and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools.
  • A willingness to travel as necessary to meet clients, attend industry events, and discover new market opportunities.
  • Knowledge of popular travel destinations, cultural nuances, and travel regulations.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Full-Time Employment, 40 hours per week.
