- Assist in orchestrating event planning efforts, including detailed itineraries and budgets for tradeshows, familiarization trips, and other significant events. Travel commitment of 30% is required, including overnight and weekend trips.
- Provide timely and detailed sales reports and analyses to leadership, offering insights into performance trends, market dynamics, and enhancement opportunities.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in computer applications, including Salesforce, Tableau, PowerPoint, PLEX, Executer, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with industry best practices, attending conferences, and participating in training sessions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or Communications is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of successful experience as a business development manager, with travel industry experience being advantageous.
- A robust network of contacts and relationships within the travel sector.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and closing abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrated creativity in problem-solving and the ability to function independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities.
- Proven analytical skills to derive insights from data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools.
- A willingness to travel as necessary to meet clients, attend industry events, and discover new market opportunities.
- Knowledge of popular travel destinations, cultural nuances, and travel regulations.

- Full-Time Employment, 40 hours per week.
