Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Middle School Humanities Curriculum Coordinator and Director to craft and deliver engaging lessons tailored to a diverse spectrum of learners.
- Partner with grade-level teams to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
- Utilize a variety of instructional methods to create dynamic and inclusive learning experiences.
- Conduct weekly advisory sessions focused on students’ social-emotional growth.
- Create a stimulating and respectful classroom environment through effective management techniques.
- Maintain proactive communication with parents, guardians, and colleagues.
- Participate actively in faculty meetings, contribute to school events, and lead experiential education trips.
- Advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, ensuring every student finds a sense of community.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of School.
- Comprehensive understanding of adolescent development and educational best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and administration.
- Passion for inspiring and educating middle school learners.
- Commitment to experiential learning aligned with institutional values.
- Strong classroom leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Required: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Education, History, English, or a related discipline.
- Teaching certification and a minimum of five years of classroom experience.
- Experience in teaching middle school students in humanities or related areas.
- Familiarity with educational technology, including Google Workspace and Zoom.
- Enthusiasm for or experience with Project-Based Learning (PBL).

Compensation And Benefits
- Salary Range: \(60,000-\)80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
