Geis Building Products, a family-owned garage door company in Brookfield, WI, is currently seeking a highly motivated people-person to join our office staff. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, have the ability to shift quickly between unrelated tasks and enjoy working in a fast- paced environment. This individual will handle a variety of office tasks, including accounts receivable deposits and invoicing, customer service and collections.
It is important for this individual to understand the big picture to ensure the smooth running of the office and to help improve organization, procedures and day-to-day operation. Experience managing and coordinating office related functions and administrative initiatives are a plus.
Requirements
· Experience as an Administrative Assistant
· Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures
· Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook, in particular)
· Sage accounting software knowledge a plus, but not required
· Hands on experience with office machines, (e.g., fax machine and printers)
· Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
· High emotional intelligence and discretion
· Attention to detail and problem solving skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
· Bachelors Degree
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and
One Saturday per month (8:00 – 12:00)
Compensation: $20-23/ Hour
