What are the responsibilities and job description for the Appliances Maintenance Technician- Commercial / Industrial position at FreshDirect?
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
1-3 years of repair and maintenance experience.
Exceptional ability to work on directed tasks and complete on time with good quality.
Basic understanding of electricity and hazards of electricity.
OSHA safety certification is a PLUS.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
In a workday: standing/walking 8-12 hours.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
Possible work assignments may include building zones below zero temps.
May be required to work up to 10 hours in 32–38-degree temps.
