Forest Hill Presbyterian Church Child Care Center is licensed by the State of Virginia and has been a part of the community for about 60 years.
Our goals include the following:
Provide a warm Christian atmosphere for children emphasizing Christian themes and objectives.
Provide a needed service to the community
Encourage harmonious working relationships between child care center staff, church staff and church members.
We have part-time and full-time teacher roles available in the following classrooms:
- Toddler Classroom (18 months -2 years)
- Two/Three's Classroom
- PreK Classroom
Duties
AVAILABLE NOW - Part-time 18-month teacher to work weekday mornings.
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervising young children in a classroom setting
- Creating and implementing lesson plans
- Maintaining a clean learning environment
- Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing company standards
- Communicate directly with parents to achieve success for the child
- Maintain a fun and interactive environment
Requirements
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Have experience in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Satisfactory applicant background per state regulations
Nice To Haves
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Richmond, VA 23225: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
