LOCK DESK COORDINATOR
The candidate for this position will be responsible for accurately reviewing, locking, extending, and revising mortgage rate lock requests submitted by loan officers or operations team members in a timely manner. This position is responsible for analyzing and resolving associated operational issues with rate lock mismatches. Tasks include, but are not limited to; researching investor guidelines, maintaining and update the pricing engine, possessing the knowledge and ability to answer loan scenario questions, respond to product eligibility questions accurately in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to adhere to federal regulations.
This position is required to ensure accuracy within the pipeline by reconciling the hedged pipeline report, communicating with post-closing to ensure timely delivery of loan commitments, as well as updating and distributing daily rate sheets.
Requirements for the position include a high school diploma (or equivalent), two years customer service in lending related field preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, basic computer and ten key skills. The ability to work flexible and/or late hours is required, and occasional travel will be necessary.
