Chef Concierge
CHEF CONCIERGE β LUXURY CONDOMINIUM
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team at a prestigious, newly constructed, 48-story luxury high-rise condominium in downtown Seattle. The Chef Concierge collaborates with the Association Manager, General Manager, and Onsite Teams to provide seamless 5-star resident experiences while maintaining the property at the highest level. The Chef Concierge should possess strong leadership skills, have a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Chef Concierge supervises, coaches, and mentors the Concierge Team, demonstrating a high level of personal, customer service driven initiatives to ensure highest quality of service for Residents. Sets an example for exemplary service and performance in the role of Concierge, and ensures the highest level of Resident safety, security, and satisfaction. Responsible for maintaining procedures and protocols, yearly reviews, and schedules for the Concierge team. Assists Residents to be successful members of the condominium community and follows-up on notices and concerns within the community to resolve complaints and create awareness of community involvement opportunities.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7-3 or as agreed mutually agreed
Salary: Starting at $75,000.00 per year or DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:

Management Support
- Work closely with Management to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and procedural functions.
- Track and curate the property information database to prepare management for decisions regarding property operations.
Supervisory Functions
- Manage supervision and scheduling for the Concierge Team, achieving 100% compliance of Concierge Team metrics in safety, security, customer service, and workplace etiquette.
- Coordinate the continual training of Concierges, ensuring that they develop the ability to handle emergencies, communicate professionally, and resolve difficult Resident inquiries/requests.
Safety/Security/Emergencies
- Monitor and screen people seeking property access, greeting all entrants, and maintaining a welcoming lobby environment.
- Assess emergency situations, determine appropriate action, calmly direct all persons through emergency procedures.
Records Administration
- Maintain property management database with Resident, employee, and property information for daily property efficiency.
- Provide monthly reports of building and Resident activity to the Board of Directors.
Building Inspections
- Perform inspections of common areas to ensure a clean home for Residents, communicating with maintenance personnel as required (i.e. Lobby, Amenities, Mail Room, etc.)
Policy Implementation
- Educate Residents about policies and communal living best practices, enforcing Association policies fairly.
- Investigate complaints, disturbances, and violations, sending reports to Management for resolution.
Resident Interaction
- Respectfully provide proactive service for Residents and Guests with respect while maintaining security and safety. Respond to inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely manner.
- Utilize knowledge of the area to provide information and recommendations. Examples may include transportation arrangements, household services, and leisure recommendations.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Experience in hospitality preferred, or at least 2 years of customer service.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Luxury hospitality customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with a variety of people and cultures including owners, Residents, property staff, community management, contractors, service providers, and the public.
- Communicates professionally in written and oral formats to a variety of audiences.
- Problem-solving in a high-volume environment.
- Good organization and time management skills.
- Self-motivation, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
- Strong knowledge of local community, area, and region.
- Computer literate, and able to complete computer tasks such as creating notices in a word processing program, sending email, using spreadsheets, programming access devices, and monitoring or adjusting computerized building systems.
- Maintain active membership in the Concierge Guild of Seattle, or similarly affiliated group.
- Maintain Notary Stamp/Bond to provide notary services to Owners and Residents at no charge.
- Must be able to do heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), maneuvering, and physical work such as cleaning, moving dumpsters, sweeping, carrying of deliveries, supplies, etc.
