COST ANALYST

WORK LOCATION: ADDISON AL

General Expectations:

The Facility Cost Analyst (a junior analyst position), will work in a manufacturing environment and will identify plant and cost department problems and will develop and implement improvement solutions. This position will work with plant management to determine and resolve plant processes, take a role on plant teams, and will participate in plant and cost department projects.

A successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of cost systems and will perform analysis of cost data to prevent and resolve production and inventory issues.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Create Production Report for print irregularities.
• Monitor all construction request changes and apply all cost changes as they occur.
• Communicate all BOM adjustments to the Materials Manager.

• Audit different base and option BOM’s daily.
• Analyze part numbers for accuracy and adjusting BOM’s with correct part numbers.

• Review all models in the backlog to make sure they have base BOM’s and that they are up to date.
• Review production orders and verify accuracy daily.

• Make timely changes to BOM ensuring the home that reflects revised cost.

• Complete the monthly base BOM analysis spreadsheets
• Develop and maintain good verbal and written working relationships with manufacturing plant and Team Members.
• Assist the Materials Manager in preparing plant for physical inventory.
• Responsible for calculating work in process (WIP) inventories.
• Additional duties as required.

Education and Qualifications:

Associates degree or equivalent experience (preferred but not required), experience with Microsoft core products (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in manufacturing with a preference in manufactured homes
