About us
The Center for Spine Surgery is a newly renovated spine center located in Wilmington, DE. This center is an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses who are innovated thinkers and provide exceptional patient care.
Our facility is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team of skilled healthcare professionals. The selected candidate will work alongside board-certified surgeons and be responsible for providing care to patients prior to, during, and after their surgeries. Perioperative Registered Nurses at our facility share the responsibility of preparing patients and the operating room for surgery, monitoring vital signs, assessing patients' response to the anesthesia, and assisting with surgical procedures and recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the patient's condition to ensure that the appropriate surgery and doses of medication are given.
- Maintain infection control standards.
- Be aware of equipment malfunctions and notify supervisors.
- Communicate with surgeons in the operating room to make sure that proper care is given to the patient.
- Be knowledgeable about the medical histories of patients.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week

- BLS Certification (Required)
