Job Description

Duties: Implements API integrations using Rest (JSON) web services. Responsible for managing several core modules of the Product Managers and Business analysts; participating in requirement gathering and implementation sessions with clients; and proposing and designing solutions. Assists the Support Engineering team help diagnose production incidents and issues reported by customers by conducting Root Cause Analysis (investigates application logs, server statistics, and application code, simulates and reproduces the problem, identifies the root cause, and produces a detailed root cause analysis). Participates in code reviews and writes unit tests, making sure the tests pass when new code is committed to the repository. Participation in agile software release cycles, ensuring timelines are met. Represents the Engineering team during technical discussions with the IT/technology teams of our customers and partners as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in jobs such as Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related jobs.
  • Experience must include 2 years of Java, Java EE, databases, MySQL, Rest (JSON) web services, Spring Hibernate, and Apache Tomcat.
  • 1 year experience in GDS.
