What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at BMT Aerospace?
EHT a subsidiary of BMT Aerospace is looking for a Maintenance Helper - Location Madison Heights, MI- HOURS 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
The Maintenance Technician will assist with a variety of tasks that could include general labor duties, helping maintain supplies at efficient levels, shop and facility housekeeping, and other duties as necessary. This position can develop and grow into more advanced responsibilities as job performance dictates.
Essential Functions:
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
- Assist with general building and grounds maintenance responsibilities
- Assist with parts inventory and/or running parts as needed
- Insuring shop supplies are maintained at appropriate levels, and placing orders when necessary
- Assist with keeping the shop in top shape, including cleanliness, in order, and running in an efficient manner
Requirements:
- 2 years of relevant industrial experience
- Electrical experience a must
- Knowlege of Tools and General Maintenance skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good communication skills
