What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle Office Analyst position at Ascendo Resources?
South Florida hedge fund is seeking Middle Office Analyst for their team, this role is responsible for performing daily collateral management duties as well as supporting the rates trading desk.
Your role:
- Trade support for all trades executed by the rates desk including instrument setup and maintenance, account and strategy creation, tagging, and booking
- Ensure trade recaps are accurate
- Provide daily trade allocations and give up information to counterparties
- Affirm all eligible trades are legally confirmed on Marketwire
- Track all fund allocations to be reviewed
- Work with the Operations team to assist in resolving trade breaks
- Daily responsibility for settling margin relating to FCMs, bilateral ISDAs and Repo trades
- Monthly responsibility for reconciling and settling collateral interest
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 3 years of experience with Fixed Income, Equity, FX, Cleared Derivatives and OTC traded products
- Strong Multi-tasker and ability to perform under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills a plus
- Experience with Bloomberg, SQL, MarketWire, TradeServ, TriOptima is a plus
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
