Asphalt Milling & Paving Laborer's and Operator's

American Industries, Inc. is a family owned and operated asphalt producer, road construction, milling and paving contractor for over 60 years that works in multiple states. American Industries is currently looking to hire a motivated, hard working and experienced Asphalt Milling and Paving Crew Laborer's and Operator's.

Requirements:

• Experience working with asphalt and equipment is preferred but willing to train the right candidates
• Ability to perform General Labor tasks
• Prior equipment maintenance experience for operators is preferred but willing to train the right candidates
• Must be able to engage in everyday activities to promote teamwork. We encourage our crew members to learn other positions so that they can better understand the entire operation and develop the skills needed to succeed and have the opportunity to grow with the company
• Must be willing and able to work overtime
• Must be willing and able to work day or night shift
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
• Minimum required safety training is OSHA 10

Benefits of Asphalt Milling and Paving Crew Laborers and Operators:

• Connecticut Prevailing Wage Rates, currently starting at $54.75 per Hour for Laborers and $65.84 per Hour for Operators. These rates include the Hourly Base Rate and the Hourly Benefit for reference and will be explained in more detail during the hiring process
