Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient facilities, long-term care, and travel nursing opportunities. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal health outcomes.*FLU & COVID Proof of vaccination or medical or religious declination reviewed/approved before start*
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusions.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
- Assist with esthetic laser treatments and other specialized procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with medical offices and durable medical equipment (DME) providers to coordinate patient care.
- Document all nursing interventions accurately in electronic health records (e.g., Athenahealth).
- 2 yrs of surgical/circulator exp Previous travel exp, no 1st time travelers Must have robotic experience
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Skills
- Proficient in travel nursing practices and adapting to various healthcare environments.
- Experience in outpatient care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of infection control measures and best practices.
- Familiarity with esthetic laser treatment procedures is a plus.
- Ability to ventilate patients effectively when necessary.
- NM or compact license at time of submission BLS, ACLS (AHA only) NIHSS Education: Nursing degree
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient care.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on empathy and support.
