Position: Time Off Requests Specialist

Location: Remote

Job Overview: We are seeking experienced call center workers to join our team as Time Off Requests Specialists. In this role, you will be responsible for answering questions and providing assistance to employees and managers regarding various time off requests, including PTO, FMLA, ADA, and other leave requests. You will be a crucial part of our support team, ensuring smooth and efficient management of time off requests for businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer questions about PTO, FMLA, ADA, or other time off requests in the system for employees of various businesses.
  • Help employees and managers manage time off requests.
  • Assist managers with tickets regarding time off requests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to employees and managers.
  • Utilize strong empathy skills to understand and address concerns.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • Handle multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively.
  • Employ de-escalation skills when needed.
  • Utilize basic computer software and Microsoft Suite efficiently.

Required Skills:

  • Strong empathy skills
  • Minimum 1 year prior customer service experience
  • Multitasking capabilities

  • Proficiency with basic computer software and Microsoft Suite
  • De-escalation skills

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of prior call center or work from home call center experience.
  • Prior experience with leaves requests such as FMLA, ADA, or PTO preferred.

Pay Rate:

  • $15.25 per hour during training
  • $17.00 per hour once you reach production

Technical Requirements:

You will need to have your own equipment for this position as outlined below:

  • Desktop or Laptop Computer (Tablets, Chromebooks, WinBooks etc are not permitted)
  • Processor: i5 or newer (or Ryzen 5 )
  • Minimum 8GB RAM
  • 500GB Storage Capacity
  • High Speed Internet Access with 20MBPS Upload and 10MBPS Download or better
  • You are unable to use a wireless internet connection for this position, you must be hardwired
  • VPN's are not permitted while on the clock
