A fully trained monitor technician can use the training and experience in applications to positions in other hospitals and clinics, where previously certified technicians may enjoy an advantage in applications.
This course will include fundamental information on anatomy and physiology of the heart and cardiovascular system, medical disease processes, medical terminology, medical legal ethics, and communication with other healthcare team members, and intensive ECG monitor strip interpretations.
