Job Description

The Cerner Project Manager oversees all aspects of projects. Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Being a Cerner Project Manager builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. In addition, Cerner Project Manager prepares project status reports. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification.Typically reports to Manager or Head of a Unit/Department. Being a Cerner Project Manager work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
