We are seeking a skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team.
Multiple locations, Golden Triangle, Jasper, Liberty/Dayton areas. We strive to keep providers within a 30 mile radius.
The ideal candidate will have 5 plus years nursing experience. Wound care management is a plus and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
**Duties:**
- Assessing and treating various types of wounds, including acute and chronic wounds
- Developing and implementing individualized wound care treatment plans
- Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educating patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Documenting all assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in patients' medical records
**Experience:**
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Experience in wound care management, including assessing, treating, and monitoring various types of wounds
- Familiarity with long-term care, senior care, outpatient settings, and experience administering injections
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) usage and maintenance
- Ability to provide health coaching to patients for wound care self-management
- RN and NP's encouraged to apply.
