Position Summary:

Join our team as a Part-Time Cash Vault Teller! This role is perfect for college students, veterans, and retirees who want to work in a safe and comfortable environment. You'll need to be available for 20-30 hours per week, with opportunities for more hours if desired.

Schedule:

Shifts Available:

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM or 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Working Hours:

• 4-6 hour shifts
• 3-5 times per week
• Part-time tellers will average 20-30 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours.

Major Responsibilities:

• Operate cash processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Accurately count and log client deposits into our teller software system.
• Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track deposits.
• Prepare currency and coin orders.
• Ensure accurate counting and tracking of all vault assets.
• Maintain the safety of all negotiables and confidential records.
• Notify supervisors/managers of any delays, issues, or concerns in a timely manner.
• Keep the teller processing area clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Equipment Used:

• PC with keyboard and barcode scanner
• Cash processor
• Coin sorter/coin counter
• Calculator, copier, scanner, fax, telephone, and printer

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous hours of standing or sitting.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Accuracy and good math skills required.
• Proficiency with computers and cash processing equipment.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds independently
• Professionalism, politeness, and a willingness to help the team.
• Trustworthiness and the ability to act with integrity.
