Truck Service Manager manages day to day operations of a truck maintenance shop. Schedules, trains, and coordinates work of mechanics and technicians. Being a Truck Service Manager ensures inventory of replacement parts, tools, and equipment is maintained effectively. Establishes and enforces quality and safety standards and regulations for preventive maintenance and repairs. Additionally, Truck Service Manager knowledge of DOT rules and regulations. Experienced in heavy diesel engine diagnosis and repairs. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Truck Service Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Truck Service Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. iTA is looking for a Full-Time Sales Account Manager to join our team in Lafayette, LA.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years’ sales experience with:
- leasing and/or rental environment, or some sales experience in the trucking industry: International; Navistar; Mack; Volvo; Peterbilt; Kenworth; Freightliner; Ford Truck; CAT; Cummins; Detroit Diesel.
- Industry experience with: transportation; farming; trucking; heavy equipment; construction.
- Other industry experience may be given consideration if solid sale experience can be demonstrated.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated sales ability;
- High energy and self-motivated;
- Ability to work independently;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to market, including cold calling on prospective and existing customers in South Louisiana.
- Experience is a plus, but will train the right individual.
- Bachelor’s Degree a plus, but not required.
- Base Commission salary structure; car allowance; excellent benefits.
