Training Assistant is responsible for clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of training and organizational development programs. Schedules training events, coordinates with instructors, obtains and distributes required instructional materials, and communicates schedules and details. Being a Training Assistant processes enrollments and answers routine inquiries regarding courses, schedules, and locations. Uses an information system or database to enter data and produce reports on training statistics, inventory levels or assessments of the programs and instructors. Additionally, Training Assistant coordinates additional services including technical equipment, meals and refreshments, housekeeping, maintenance or repairs. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Training Assistant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Our team is GROWING! We are looking to hire an individual who enjoys working with dogs! Someone with a passion for helping dogs who need extra support, and an interest in animal behavior. You will work alongside certified trainers, and assist them when needed.
We want to add someone to our team who pays attention to detail, is organized and has superior customer service skills!
Primary duties will include cleaning, rotating dogs, providing enrichment and assisting trainers. Must also be able to handle dogs of all sizes, and clean when needed. Raises and promotions come as the staff learns how to train dogs and work with clients. We are looking for someone who wants to be a part of an amazing training team in a growing dog business!
