Training Assistant is responsible for clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of training and organizational development programs. Schedules training events, coordinates with instructors, obtains and distributes required instructional materials, and communicates schedules and details. Being a Training Assistant processes enrollments and answers routine inquiries regarding courses, schedules, and locations. Uses an information system or database to enter data and produce reports on training statistics, inventory levels or assessments of the programs and instructors. Additionally, Training Assistant coordinates additional services including technical equipment, meals and refreshments, housekeeping, maintenance or repairs. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Training Assistant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. **Responsibilities:**
1. **Dog Walking:**
- Available from 8 AM to 8 AM to accommodate scheduled walks
- Conduct training sessions during walks based on client requests, providing various training options for ongoing home training.
- Following Instructions: Adhere to specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding their dog's walking routine, dietary restrictions, and any special needs.
- Building Relationships: Develop positive relationships with the dogs in your care, as well as with their owners, fostering trust and open communication.
- Time Management: Manage time effectively to ensure timely arrival for scheduled walks
- Weekly earnings range from $300 to $500.
2. **Training:**
- Assist Jennifer in training dogs for playdate social skills during puppy socials.
- Support in training behaviors such as walking by other dogs.
- Lead leash walking boot camps, a 2-week course focused on reinforcing good leash walking behaviors through consistent practice
- Assist and train in upcoming services including leash walking events, puppy play, and train summer camp, among others.
- Weekly earnings range from $25 to $140
