    About The Hiring Company: They are a rapidly growing logistics company with a revenue of $40M in 2023 and a team of around 40 dedicated employees. Their operations span across 80% Truckload (50% van, 50% Flat & HH), 10% partial, and 10% LTL, with the flexibility to pivot to Reefer as needed.     Role Overview: The Vice President of Sales is a pivotal individual contributor role focused on driving revenue growth and market expansion. This position requires a seasoned professional with deep logistics industry knowledge and a proven sales track record. The VP of Sales will build and maintain strong customer relationships and work closely with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with business goals. While leadership opportunities may arise in the future, this role is currently centered on personal sales contributions.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets and grow market share.
    • Identify market opportunities and create plans to leverage emerging trends and new business segments.
    • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with marketing and operations to align sales strategies with product offerings and pricing.
    • Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and generate reports to guide strategic decisions.
    • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
    • Contribute to the development of annual sales budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
    • Proven success in sales roles within the logistics industry, with at least 2 years of experience.
    • Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
    • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach.
    • Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to travel as needed for customer meetings, industry events, and sales support.
