We are seeking a person that combines IT/AI knowledge to translate Data Analytics from Quickbooks and other Point of Sale Hospitality Sources, like Toast POS into Excel Spreadsheets and Colorful Reports/Brochures.
We are active in the areas of Real Estate Development and Construction, as well as Hospitality Concepts in Restaurants, Catering and Wholesale Operations.
Education, Experience, and Credential Qualifications:
· 7 years of total experience in Accounting and Human Resource Management.
· Presentation development skills combining financial information with location and company details, etc..
· Advanced knowledge of Excel.
· Ability to learn and use other software tools as required.
· Solid process improvement skills and a proven change agent.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the oversight, preparation, analysis, and distribution of the company's consolidated financial statements, and manages the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes including variance analysis to ensure accurate, timely, and relevant financial reporting. This position will provide direct supervision of the accounting team.
Essential Job Duties:
-Collaboration with CFO and other Staff Accountants.
· Oversee general ledger and accounting functions and systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate financial accounts.
· Manage the month end closing process and ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly in a timely manner.
· Prepare, analyze and submit monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to management.
· Coordinate with IT to ensure the accounting system is recording all transactions are properly captured and recorded. Troubleshoot as necessary.
· Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Billings functions.
· Support analytical needs including project analysis and variance reporting.
