The ideal candidate should have experience in sales within an office setting. Duties require effective verbal communication as well as written communication via email. Candidate should be able to confidently educate catalog sales representatives as well as customers on our various products as well as the features and benefits of our material. Essential skills for the job Prior Customer Service Experience within an office setting Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to handle and prioritize multiple activities simultaneously and make self-directed decisions Ability to cope with stressful situations in a professional manner Good math skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc) Detail-oriented Ability to maintain confidentially and exercise extreme discretion Essential Job Functions Prepare quotes and orders for catalog accounts Evaluate customer needs, by reviewing notes and emails, and proactively determine all required components, parts, and pieces for projects. Prepare detailed quote and parts list. Effectively calculate and discount material with various discount structures Enter purchase orders for rack and wire partition systems. Enter Purchase order acknowledgments, advanced ship notices, and invoices via web portal. Input shipping information into web portal for truck routing. Send date changes for any order submitted with the incorrect requested ship date for scorecard accuracy. Provide customer service Keep accounts updated concerning order status. Answer questions pertaining to delivery/shipping dates. Determine truck loading configurations for quotes /orders. Support inside sales manager in the development of quotes for complex jobs, for our catalog accounts. Build and maintain relationships with multiple account managers to ensure in repeat business. Determine specifications and accurate requirements from catalog sales representatives before quoting to ensure accuracy Effectively differentiate products through unique features and benefits. Educate catalog sales representatives on product features and specifications Work closely with other departments within the company to ensure all rules and regulations are followed within each department Perform other similar duties as responsibilities necessitate or as assigned by the supervisor.
