Top Accounting Executive provides technical and operational leadership across accounting functions. Develops and implements accounting policies and procedures that adhere to governmental financial and tax regulations and comply with GAAP and IFRS standards. Being a Top Accounting Executive operationalizes accounting systems and processes to deliver continuous improvements. Ensures accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and reporting. Additionally, Top Accounting Executive establishes internal auditing processes and coordinates external audits. Uses in-depth knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and best practices to develop accounting professionals. May require a master's degree in accounting or finance. May require Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Typically reports to top management. The Top Accounting Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, your customer service acumen and financial background will allow you to help families purchase high-quality homes in your community. You’ll act as a liaison between the borrower, sales team, and underwriting department to ensure a helpful and friendly home buying experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Stay informed about every available loan program including both in-house and broker options.
- Create complete loan applications will any and all supporting documents prior to sharing with loan processing team.
- Build and manage healthy relationships with both internal and external partners, including but not limited to processors, closers, homebuilder sales partners, brokers and borrowers. Answer questions and provide guidance regarding status of various loans in pipeline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Active NMLS license required.
- 2-10 years of mortgage originations experience preferred.
- Knowledge of single-family mortgages e.g. conventional, FHA/VA, etc.
- Experience with Encompass preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
