Additionally, Technical Recruiter initiates onboarding plan for new hires. Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Technical Recruiter occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Position Description
Our client is a large, publicly traded firm that focused on building a high performing talent acquisition team and culture that is passionate about finding, attracting and engaging top diverse talent for critical operations and engineering roles. As a contract talent acquisition specialist, you will work closely with leaders who expect excellent customer service, thought leadership and expertise in current recruitment trends, technology and social recruiting. Day to day tasks may include:
- Source diverse candidates for difficult, hard to fill engineering, IT, strategy and corporate staff positions.
- Assess candidates based on needs defined by department hiring managers.
- Attend recruitment functions such as virtual job fairs, career days and other event candidates.
- Learn and communicate the company employment brand and total rewards systems to prospective candidates
- Engage in continuous improvement activities (ie, process changes, system configuration, etc.)
- Work and collaborate cross-functionally with other HR teams (HRIS, Benefits, Consulting, etc.)
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree and one (1) or more years of professional experience in human resources. Preferred candidates will have recruiting experience in a corporate or RPO environment.
-Demonstrated leadership skills while working in a team environment. Experience with team/project-oriented recruiting activities.
-Ability to relate well to people and work in cooperation with others to coordinate activities in order to accomplish assigned tasks.
-Demonstrated ability to adapt to a variety of human resource issues with successful outcomes and demonstrate openness toward new ideas and approaches.
-Understanding and appreciation of the need for a diverse work environment and experience working on initiatives for the recruitment of diverse candidates.
-Proficient with the use of MS Office, Applicant Tracking software (Taleo, SuccessFactors, ICIMS, etc.) and Internet recruiting techniques.
-Ability to act independently and make decisions that achieves optimal results.
-Ability to interface with all levels of management.
-Effective verbal and written skills communication skills.
-Ability and willingness to adhere to corporate processes and procedures, as well as applicable employment laws and regulations.
-Detail oriented.
