Technical Communicator jobs in Minnesota

Job Summary:
Twin City northern suburban manufacturing firm is looking to enhance their sales staff with a person dedicated to services accounts and adding new companies to their client list. This is an exciting opportunity at a stable organization selling in chemical and coatings marketplace. This is a position that will include some mostly local travel as you will be visiting client and prospective customer sites.

Duties:

• Work with existing customer base to maintain good relationships and grow clients.
• Develop new business by generating and calling on prospects and following up on sales leads.
• Provide advice and support to clients finding the best solutions for them
• Take part in industry events and activities
• Work with chemists and other internal staff regarding product development

Requirements:

• 5 years in industrial and B2B sales within the coatings marketplace
• Knowledge of coatings, chemicals and/or equipment used for coatings
• Entrepreneurial acumen and a desire to grow business
• Ability to work independently, visit client sites and build relationships using interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong technical background
• Must be able to work independent or with others in a very fast paced environment
