Tax Director jobs in Arizona
Tax Director directs and oversees an organization's tax policies and objectives. Monitors reporting and planning to ensure compliance with applicable tax statutes. Being a Tax Director ensures accuracy of tax returns and works to minimize the organization's tax obligations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Tax Director typically reports to top management. The Tax Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Tax Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. - 10 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax
- Experience in a variety of tax areas, including individual, business, and tribal taxation
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to professional ethics
Compensation:
- Base salary of $220,000- $250,0000
- Bonus based on performance
