    Responsibilities

    • Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients in the medical surgical/pediatric unit.
    • Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide direct patient care as per physician orders.
    • Monitor and document patients' vital signs, progress, and response to treatments.
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
    • Educate patients and their families on managing their conditions and promoting wellness.
    • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
    • Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly.

    Qualifications

    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
    • Minimum of one year of experience in medical surgical and/or pediatric nursing.
    • Strong knowledge of medical surgical and pediatric nursing practices and procedures.
    • Excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team and provide compassionate patient care.
    • BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred for pediatric nursing.
