Under the direction of the Count Room Supervisor, the incumbent assists in the pickup, sorting, counting and recording of currency in the Count room. Assists in the bill drop and prep work required to support the Count operation. Must have Knowledge of and able to perform clerk functions. Physically demanding and High paced. Ability to run computerized currency counting equipment and operate tow equipment. Ability to perform supervisory skills in the absence of the supervisor. High school diploma or GED required. Must have one (1) year experience in the Count Room/Cage or Banking experience. Ability to operate computerized counting equipment and tow vehicles. Must have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly during the shift.
