Mission for the Position

Develop and maintain our Quality System, ISO, IATF and overall policies & procedures for the company.

Key Competencies

• Knowledgeable in AIAG APQP procedures and documentation (Process flow, PFMEA, Control Plans, etc.)

• Capable collecting PPAP documents, manage and submit PPAP package to customer according to customer requirement.

• IATF 16949/ ISO Audit experience

• Knowledge in developing Quality management system

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Strong knowledge with GD&T, SPC, GR&R and capability study calculation and implementation

• Capable conduct and leading R& R in house and at suppliers.

• 7 years of related experience

• Plastic injection molding and assembly background is MUST

• VDA knowledge is a plus

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in manufacturing and quality at Automotive supplier

• Should have worked in a production plant environment

• Bachelor’s Degree in quality or engineering

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification and lean manufacturing experience preferred

• Experience with standard quality problem solving tools (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.)

• Experience in IATF certification, layered audits and quality systems.

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, total quality management techniques, inspection and test methods and equipment required

• Broad engineering knowledge including mechanical and characteristics of materials and components

Measurable Outcomes

• Handle Quality functions to establish and maintain ISO, IATF registration. Including but not limited to all internal and external procedures, specs, documents control and customer portals.

• Timely and accurate PPAP submissions is MUST

• Monitor and manage all customer related quality concerns

• Take immediate action on major customer complaints and rejection. Follow industry reaction time frame for any quality alert.

• Maintain and improve incoming inspection methods and processes for the receipt of raw materials and purchase components.

• Monitor calibration and certification of test equipment at company and company's suppliers

• Establish and recommend new or modified methods, procedures or equipment to facilitate inspection and audit processes

• Support infusion of Six Sigma or similar tools and techniques into the Quality Operating System

• Manage Quality team.
