Job Summary:
The Part-Time Program Coordinator will enhance the capacity of Resolute Charlotte by developing and monitoring the sustainability of agency and its's re-entry and transitional housing programs. These efforts will include educational opportunities and job skills training specifically for Black males with criminal justice involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development and Management:
- Develop and oversee re-entry and transitional housing programs.
- Create and manage educational and job skills training programs tailored to participants’ needs.
- Develop curriculum and programming to support participant success.
- Research and Funding Development:
- Research and develop funding opportunities to ensure program sustainability.
- Identify relevant grants, collaborating with grant writer.
- Volunteer Program Management:
- Create, monitor, and supervise a volunteer program.
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for program activities.
- Participant Support:
- Provide case management and support to program participants.
- Make referrals to external services and resources as needed.
- Manage the daily operations of the transitional housing program.
- Program Evaluation and Reporting:
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and sustainability.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on program activities and outcomes.
- Event Planning and Organization:
- Plan and organize organizational events and programming to engage participants and the community.
Qualifications:
- Experience with the criminal justice system and understanding of recidivism.
- Strong research and grant writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop and implement educational and job training programs.
- Experience in case management and providing participant support.
- Proven ability to create and manage volunteer programs.
- Passion for making a positive impact on individuals transitioning from incarceration, with a focus on Black males.
- A genuine passion for service and helping others, driven by a commitment to community improvement rather than financial gain.
