Position: Plant Supervisor

Reporting to: General Manager

Job description:

Responsible for:

-Oversee all production departments and department group leaders.

-Oversee daily production department start-up and running at START OF SHIFT with-in 10-15 minutes daily.

-Close plant at end of day, checklist of shut offs.

-Execution and tracking of Production Schedule Provided by Operations

-Arranging the appropriate labor in each department to perform scheduled work

-Schedule Machines/setups and Labor with department leaders

-Assist in machine setup when needed

-Daily issues on white board -Execute improvements to achieve goals

-Report any issues to appropriate support departments that hinder production, or individual production jobs

-Product Quality - Assuring production quality

-Perform hourly checks of each production job (all areas)

-Ensure production is reported accurately each day

-Load/unload vacuum oven as needed, perform tank swap outs

-Confirm first piece approval processing

-Participate in daily/weekly Production Meetings

-Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and organization

-Ordering plant supplies (including gases)

-Organization and Disposition of MRB items that come from the production area

-Managing Personnel and Staffing for the entire operation

-Motivate -Communicate -Discipline

-Perform job interviews for production operators

-Ensure employees are following safety guidelines STOPPING ANY THING considered not safe

-Administration of policy discipline

-Write-ups -Verbal warnings

-Perform employee training and orientations

-New employee training packet for HR

-Any other tasks or duties assigned

Position Requirements: 3-5 years in Leadership position 10-15 workers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
