Safety Specialist implements, manages and monitors safety programs, policies, and procedures that meet OSHA and other applicable requirements. Evaluates the organization's procedures, facilities and equipment by conducting inspections to identify unsafe conditions and to implement safeguards and solutions. Being a Safety Specialist ensures the organization complies with all current safety regulations and that all employees are aware of safety requirements and are prepared to follow safety procedures. Collects data and reports on all safety and accident events. Additionally, Safety Specialist may have additional responsibility for fire prevention, hazardous waste management, resource conservation, or other safety related activities depending on the industry and location. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Safety Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Summary: Supports a variety of areas in the Technical Operations department.
Duties:
Supports Ring Central MVP and Contact Center system through the creation, maintenance, and deletion of users as required.
Assist business in designing KPI reports to monitor and measure phone system workflows.
Create controls, policies and procedures to monitor and manage the phone system.
Make modifications to IVR and call flows as needed.
Facilitate steering committee meetings with both business and technical groups.
Performs duties as an AS400 Operator, running jobs and schedules as requested.
Performs Open Text requests as requested
Maintains day to day operations of Computer room.
Works with operations staff to resolve routine operational issues
Performs duties as operational Auditor
Works with others in the company to implement and evaluate systems and procedures
Handles computer room issues in absence of manager
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
3-5 years experience in a telephony administration role required
experience in an AS/400 environment
Degree in systems or computer training certification desired
