Risk Management Director manages and administers an organization's risk-management programs. Implements policies, procedures, and controls to monitor and minimize the risk exposure of assets. Being a Risk Management Director researches internal and external risk factors including economic, market, and regulatory risks that may affect the organization. Routinely evaluates the effectiveness of procedures and collaborates with internal stakeholders to monitor changes in the business environment. Additionally, Risk Management Director manages statistical analysis and designing of financial models to predict the risk exposure of an organization's assets. Reviews risk analysis reports to ensure risks are identified and managed effectively. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Risk Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Risk Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     The ERM Technician - Level 1 is responsible for Electrical Risk Management (ERM) topics such as infrared testing, NFPA 70E audits, service installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial and industrial settings.

    Minimum Requirements

    Education: Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours)

    Travel: 40-70%

    Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Installs, maintains, and/or troubleshoots basic electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC).
    • Demonstrates ability to work directly with high impact customers without direct supervision.
    • Maintain and develop mutually-beneficial customer relationships.
    • Cleans and maintains job site, tools, and vehicles.
    • Provides thermal imaging services for customers, as requested.
    • Develops and integrates project schedule effectively with customers.
    • Consistently follows workplace safety procedures.
    • Displays effective customer relations through utilization of problem solving techniques.
    • Participates in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions.
    • Immediately identifies, corrects, and/or reports any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner.
    • Works as a member of a cohesive team.
    • Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
    • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
    • Capable of performing infrared testing and surveys.
    • Can be called upon to install, maintain, and/or troubleshoot basic electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC).
    • Demonstrates ability to work without direct supervision.
    • Installs conduit systems, various lighting systems, and basic control systems.
    • Installs motor feeders and makes standard motor connections.
    • Cleans and maintains job site, tools, and vehicles.
    • Consistently follows workplace safety procedures.
    • Displays effective customer relations through utilization of problem-solving techniques.
    • Participates in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions.
    • Immediately identifies, corrects, and/or reports any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner.
    • Works as a member of a cohesive team.
    • Scheduling projects.
    • Performing NFPA 70E audits.
    • Trained in interoffice report paperwork needs.
    • Direct customer contact and scheduling.
    • Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
    • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
