Revenue Cycle Director jobs in New Jersey

A specialty medical network in New Jersey is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as their new Revenue Cycle Director. In this role, the Revenue Cycle Director will be responsible for maximizing cash collections by ensuring timely, accurate, complete and compliant billing and follow-up.

Responsibilities:

The Revenue Cycle Director will:

• Supervise, train, and mentor staff respective to front end billing functions
• Provide analytics and trends regarding front end billing functions
• Ensure that the claims are created daily and split appropriately daily and received by the payer
• Ensure that scrubbing and submission of claims including primary, secondary, and wrap around is occurring daily and that denied claims are being reviewed, corrected, and resubmitted for payment
• Effectively communicate with the client any issues with credentialing, payer denials, and provider coding errors
• Prepare for and attends client meetings and conference calls
• Ensure other billing projects, 4028, Self Pay Scrubs are performed monthly and accurately for each client by monitoring staff working on assigned projects
• Identify new ways of maximizing cash collections for their assigned client
• Run Cognos reports independently to identify payment issues and staff performance gaps
• Review staff performance logs and identify performance issues
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in Billing and/or Revenue Cycle Management
• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree
• Certification in Coding (CPC)
• Previous experience in a Leadership and/or Supervisory 
• Possessing knowledge of New York State Department of Health programs or Federally Qualified Health Center operations
