Retail & Commercial Tire Store Manager Assistant assists the store manager with the day-to-day operations of a tire store/center that markets to both retail and commercial clients. Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. Being a Retail & Commercial Tire Store Manager Assistant manages the tire center in absence of the manager. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area. Additionally, Retail & Commercial Tire Store Manager Assistant typically reports to a store manager. The Retail & Commercial Tire Store Manager Assistant supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Job Details
What you'll do:- Build customer relationships
- Assess customers' needs and provide Belle Tire solutions according to their needs
- Follow Belle Tire's Sales Process
- Manage a cash drawer; cash customers out and maintain daily cash reconciliation
- Meet and exceed defined goals and objectives
- Direct the workflow in the service department
- Handle day to day paperwork involved with retail operations
- Work well in a team environment with a positive attitude
- Do the right thing for the customers, employees, and vendors
- Continuous thinking and sharing of ideas to improve Belle Tire
- Other duties as assigned by manager
- 18 years of age
- Valid drivers' license
- High School Diploma/GED is required
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers, management and customers.
- Ability to lift an object weighing up to 75 pounds
- Varying work hours, Mon-Sat, some overtime may be required. Workshop environment, with heavy physical requirements and long periods of standing.
