Regional Human Resources Manager designs, plans, and implements human resources programs and policies, including staffing, compensation, benefits, visa/green card processing, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs for a region within an organization. Ensures existing programs in compliance with government regulations. Being a Regional Human Resources Manager may lead the work of Human Resources Business Partners. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Regional Human Resources Manager typically reports to a Director or top executive. The Regional Human Resources Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Regional Human Resources Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for supporting a union manufacturing facility with over 250 employees, providing a hand-on approach to HR. Our client offers a competitive base salary along with bonus, relocation assistance, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
Responsibilities:
- The HRM will be a hands-on and interactive professional who will develop and execute practices and processes across all areas. Providing functional leadership to the HR department and management teams across the entire company.
- It is imperative that the HRM functions as a positive support person for the entire team.
- Applies an understanding of key legal precedents, policies, and practices to protect the interests of the organization and individual employees, monitors internal and external factors to anticipate the HR needs of the organization.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Union experience is required
- 8 years of experience in manufacturing
- Strong background proficiency in benefits, employee relations, talent development, labor relations, organizational change and performance management
