Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as both a Reporter and Social Media and Website Content Director. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in capturing the essence of our community through covering events, photography, storytelling, and social media engagement. Your primary responsibilities will include attending community meetings and sports events, capturing compelling photos, crafting engaging stories, and interacting with our followers across various social media platforms. To be clear, this is not a social-media-only position. It's a big part of it, but it is just one component of the opening.
While we are a group of radio stations, on-air experience is not necessary, and the position may not even require those skills. We hope to create content for our newscasts, announcers, website, and social media. If you want to have a go at talking on the air, we can work that out, too.
